As SKP, we did many of activities across Iraqi Kurdistan Region during these years from the establishing the syndicate, including:
Scientific and legal destruction of expired medicines by the medicine destruction committee of the Kurdistan Pharmacists Union/Sulaimani Branch, without causing any environmental or scientific damage.
After receiving complaints about several pharmacies, the inspection committees of our union in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of the central district of Erbil, investigated and inspected several pharmacies in the two sides of youth in Erbil Their case was settled for the following violations:
Having unauthorized and unscientific solutions in the pharmacy.
Integrating the pharmacy profession with other medical and health professions.
Irregular drug storage.
Therefore, we warn all pharmacies in Erbil to comply with the laws and guidelines of the Pharmacists Union, otherwise legal action will be taken against them.
First National Conference on Combating Microbial Resistance to Antibiotics in order to promote drug use awareness in the Kurdistan Region
“Public health is the responsibility of all of us” Kurdistan Pharmacists Union, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and in coordination with Erbil Medical University, Doctors Union and Dentists Union. With the active participation of the Kurdistan Regional Quality Control Agency, it will hold the first national conference to combat microbial resistance to antibiotics and promote drug use awareness.
For this purpose, anyone who has a relevant scientific topic, keynote, article, research or anything else published and wishes to participate in the conference, please send it to the High Committee for the Preparation of the Conference for evaluation.
